People call me a drama queen, but I think "Why not? My life's a soap opera anyway!"
I'm in my first year at UWE in Bristol studying English Language and Linguistics, and I've won a bubblicious and dress-up-tastic job at Lush! Bristol's overwhelming me... I love it here, but I've no time to explore the parts I don't already know... might start looking for a guide soon!
At the moment I've little time to do anything much other than coursework, work and trying to keep myself alive, but I'm passionate about film, music and literature.
I write in my spare time, and used to have things published. Now, I write just for myself.
My top films are Rear Window, Bed of Roses, Bound, Tank Girl, The Red Shoes and Clerks.
Music I like - Deftones, Capdown, Snapcase, VAST, Silverchair, Green Day, Angelica, Kittie, Hatebreed, RATM, SOAD, Coal Chamber, CKY, LTJ, Placebo, Incubus, Shostakovich, Dvorak, Vivaldi, Grieg, Ella Fitzgerald... I could go on forever. I mostly listen to rockmetalpunkstuff, classical, funk, jazz and blues.
My favourite authors are Jane Austen, Tom Holt, Andrew Harman, Robert Rankin, Herman Melville, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Diana Wynne Jones, Sam Kieth, Dave Sim.
I'm bipolar and an SI-er. I should add... I love life. I love many things and am passionate about so much that is out there in the world. However, there's something wrong with my head. I know it's wrong and I've done everything I personally can to correct it. So many people say "if you know it's wrong why don't you just do something about it, why not make a conscious decision not to be that way"... I wish they could understand; it's not that easy. That's why I've now got external help... This is a disclaimer, just in case.
And, finally, I'm not a vote trader. I won't necessarily vote you just 'cause you voted me... Votes are something special, I think. If you've received one you've done something particular to deserve it. I expect the same treatment in return.
