ABOUT ME
Well, my name is Faye (as you can probably tell), and I live in a naff town on the North Yorkshire/East Lancashire border.  Still living with the parents (sad but true at my age).  Am hoping that will change in the next couple of years ... but you never know what's around the corner (still living in hope for that big Lotto win).  I started a new job in January 08 - working in the International Property department in a Holiday Cottages company covering Health & Safety issues.  It's really interesting and certainly keeps me busy.

I've recently started seeing someone after 2 years who has totally restored my faith in men.  It's all part of the rebuilding of my life after spending the past 7 years in pretty serious debt.  This was all paid off back in March 2007 and life is getting definately better.

My Music
Music is pretty much my life!  I love it and without it am nothing.  I've almost always got a concert lined up of somesort ... 2008 is the busiest year I've ever had I think having already seen The Almighty, James, Matchbox 20, Journey South and Def Leppard/Whitesnake with Jason Donovan, Michael Bolton, Thunder, my 8th Bryan Adams concert on my birthday and Extreme. In 2009 I'm hoping to fulfill my dream of seeing Aerosmith in America. 

I love most music from the likes of Kenny G to Marilyn Manson and the bands/artists I'm getting into is forever growing.

Other Hobbies
So what else do I enjoy?  The outdoors, photography, movies, t'internet, and generally hanging out with my friends.  I don't seem to get chance to enjoy most of my hobbies, but this is all starting to change.

The theatre is something else I like too.  Went to panto for the first time in YEARS in December 2007.  This year I've seen The Wedding Singer, lined up are Can't Smile Without You, Fiddler On The Roof and Mary Poppins.

I do like to visit new places when I get the chance, which isn't all that often.  My favourite places to visit though are Whitby, Great Yarmouth, Bournemouth, Brighton and Blackpool .. yep, I love the coast.

I'm not a sports player, but enjoy watching motor racing, tennis, rugby union and athletics.  I went to Wimbledon in 2007 (got the only dry day in the first week) and am looking to attend a 6 Nations match in 2009, hopefully the England v Wales match in Cardiff.  I also enjoy going for walks and swimming.

Being a Type 2 Diabetic, I try to raise money for Diabetes UK when I can. July 2006 I took part in the "Walk In The Park" in Leeds, and in September 2007 I did a Bungee Jump in Manchester - which was one of the most mind blowing experiences EVER, and so recommend it for those wanting to conquer a fear of heights. 

Sayings
I have a few favourite sayings which include:

Who/What am I looking for?
What kinda people am I looking to meet?  New friends really, and catching up with some old ones on here would also be great.  I love having a laugh, so if you've a great sense of humour then it's always a good start.
