10th jan update well it is all going really well with deb, and i am happier than i have been in a long time. 31dec update Well here goes.... update, new years eve... just under 2 years ago a girl called Debbie joined my team at work and we had a great friendship that always had an underlining awkward tension... because we were fond of each other, but because of working so closely we both fought the idea of getting together, but the tension got the better of her and she changed her shift pattern, because she couldnt handle seeing me and not wanting to take it further, it had become awkward, so 2 months down the line at the xmas works do... and under the influence of drink...lol. Everything came out and how she wished we had got together... and i still fought it because we would struggle to get time together... but we met up on boxing day.... and i fell head over heels and have not stopped smiling since we grab every moment we can and savour it as if it was our last. all i know is that when this woman holds me and looks at me.... its the most special moment even my breathing gets nervous.... i cannot begin to explain how much i am looking forward to the new year 2006 with my woman by my side.... god knows i believe that time heals all wounds but this feeling is so much more healing than that...... have a wonderful year to you all.... and if you do find that moment with someone.... dont take no for an answer.. debbie didnt and she is happier in her life than she has been for a long long time ( her words)
with the above in mind i guess it is fair to say i wont be on here as much and not looking for a relationship... as the one that i have has fulfilled every part of my wishes and even though its early days.... i know what i have is special... after all we have known each other for 2 years... friendships can turn into something...  I am ray 41,in a relationship, no kids. I am big build, bald and proud of it ...lol.
my job is a travel agent. looking for friendship. I genuinely have a good sense of humour... and can chat for england.
I like firty fun, but cyber does bore me... because i prefer the real thing... lol.

Have you ever just gone on the web search engines and entered your name? well i did and found out my namesake raymond gallagher was a sargent in the US airforce and was part of the crew that dropped the 2nd atomic weapon on Nagasaki in WW2 - the H bomb, which was more powerful than the initial bomb dropped on Hiroshima. he wrote a letter later in life which went onto say even though he knew the disastrous effects it would cause he had no hesitation, because he was sick of war and he believed that pulling that trigger would bring to an end the final world war and the brutality he had witnessed nad heard about. not here to judge him but wonder as he took his last breath was the thoughts with the 100,000 souls who lost the lives from his actions that day, some even died years after from the effects of one second of his life. and made me wonder what act can mankind do today to end these days of terror that effect our lives the world over... certainly not an atomic weapon.
I am seeking female friendships ...someone who is after a chance to move on and looking to build reliable friendships.... ie ; no emotional baggage or hang ups from past relationships
( lol and no I dont mean children, if anything I have found them to be the saving grace of the many women on here.... and I am sure they would have been my salvation if I had been lucky enough to have had the chance to be a father ) .
I have varied interests including travel, various types of history especially local, cinema and cooking. I am passionate about my tastes in music that spans generations and decades... but then that comes with age.... and despite vicious rumours I am more likely bopping to motown.. and old skool dance than drooling over my smurfs greatest hits !
I do like a night out with my friends... male and femaIe....and I am a Birmingham city fan. and if you are a villa fan... expect abuse... and to be banned ... the vile do not deserve to enjoy my brilliance on their screen...... lol
And I am getting more and more into DIY.....case of having to ...lol
ignore below now as i have met debbie, but at least it tells you what i am glad to say i have found with debbie.
Whilst i am NOT solely looking for someone in particular, IF that certain someone was on here and we did hit it off, then i would gladly take it further. as for what she looks like i have no idea.... all i know is, i have not met her yet(actually i had seeing as worked with her for 2 years !! pmsl).... so as far as she looks like, i just have no pre-conceptions about age, colour or size.... i am just looking forward to finding out (and this part is especially fun now!! lol)....lol.
If i had a preference it would be towards someone nearer to my own age, and also more likely someone who is of a fuller figure be it BBW or plumper than skinny... dont ask me why but i guess i just find their sensuality something quite .... intoxicating.
The best description I can give as to what I am looking for is in a song by Bryan Adams called INSIDE OUT make an effort to listen to the words and you will understand what it is I am truly after.... but I really am not holding out much hope.

I am back at work now after the new year and all the amazing fun me and deb have had... and i do feel recharged and ready to get rid of some of the baggage and some habits that are a hindrance to moving to the next stage in my life.
